Hello, I'm Alexandre "Alex" Guillaume, digital and traditional illustrator.

I've participated in the realization of various illustration projects on the area of edition, communication, entertainment and educational.

Freelance since 2002, I've started, at first, to work with private software like Photoshop, Illustrator, Painter... But, two years ago, I've decided to to do my job with free and open source software under Linux, like Gimp, Inkscape, Myaint.

It allows me to provide a professional quality work with the possibility for the client, who can't afford to invest in private software, to receive a support from me, if he need to, in using the image ordered with free softwares.

Otherwise, since June 2012, I produce a daily painting of Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art that I do.

All of the Capoeira paintings made under this project are downloadable and free to use (in a non profit way). The purpose is to help the capoeira schools around the world, who can't pay the services of a professional illustrator, to get a nice image to put on their workshop posters and tee-shirts.
